Coco's dream of escape was realized yesterday morning to her parents' horror. She slipped out collarless while her brother was coming back into the house. Must have taken off after a squirrel because neither of us even noticed she was gone until we realized she was not in the house. After scouring the neighbourhood and countless panicked calls to the city and the humane society, Coco's mug shot showed up on the city's website.

Because I am a good mom I documented what I could using my phonecam.

She was found, humbled and remorseful, doing hard time at the city doggy jail.

Judging by her behaviour after having been bailed out ($32+), her adventures were not as carefree and exciting as she'd expected.

Another amazing season. Highlights:
Opening of Revelstoke - big snow, epic days at Kicking Horse, late season dumps at SSV, Aaron made his first descent in the dive. I had 92 mountain days this year.

Anna had a great season racing this year. We're going to Chile in Aug-Sept to kick off the 2009 season early, Anna is racing in SA cup.

Mountain biking is starting up, we have DH bikes this year and are very excited.

Kinda strange so far. Incredible snow at Revelstoke, great snow at Kicking Horse, SSV has had some great days, but the Dive is still not open (14 Feb 08).

Anna's racing again, having a decent season so far.

The end of an amazing snow season. Such incredible memories from this year, all the great riding, all the places we visited, all the powder days.

Thinking about a weekend trip to Mt Hood, another to Whistler maybe, and wondering how Anna can get extra holidays so we could ride the Andes again this summer.

This is Anna at the last Noram race of the year, this is after she tore the ligaments in her right thumb but at this point she is still focussed on her run rather than her thumb.

yep, broke down and decided to use a blog template. Feel free to shun my techie friends, I just don't have the time or motivation to sit down and code it myself. We'll probably use this to post pics, updates, etc, as opposed to me updating the main site once a year or so. :oP Keep checking back, hopefully we'll actually keep this thing going.
